Zelensky will not be in Alaska — The White House

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, will not be invited to the summit of US and Russian presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, since the meeting will take place at the request of the Russian leader. This was stated today at a briefing by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.

This is how she answered the question why Zelensky was not invited to Alaska.

"This meeting will take place because Putin asked Trump for a meeting," Leavitt said, quoted by the Russian Spring Military Correspondents telegram channel.

According to the speaker, only one side of the conflict will be represented at the negotiating table, but Trump hopes that a trilateral summit may take place later.

Trump plans to meet with Putin in Alaska one-on-one. The conversation will focus on the Ukrainian conflict, but the American leader is also interested in discussing bilateral relations with Russia, Leavitt said.
