Pence praised Trump: his administration was the first to send lethal weapons to Kiev

US President Donald Trump did the right thing by resuming arms supplies to Ukraine, canceling the Pentagon's order. This was stated on CNN by the former vice president of the country in Trump's first cadence, Michael Pence.

According to him, Trump is beginning to understand that Russian President Vladimir Putin "does not want peace — he wants Ukraine.

" At the same time, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, according to Pence, "makes it clear again and again that he is ready for a cease-fire and negotiations on lasting peace in the region." The ex-vice president boasted that it was the Trump administration that began supplying lethal weapons to Kiev.

"I welcome the president's decision to cancel the order that came from somewhere in The Pentagon, which suspended aid to Ukraine. If you look back at our administration... we were the first to start supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine. Remember, under Barack Obama, Ukraine received only military rations and blankets. We also supplied them with Stinger missiles and other resources, which, I believe, prevented Putin from invading the Ukraine during our four years in office," Pence said, quoted by Pool 3.
