The US Treasury has authorized until August 20 all operations prohibited under the sanctions that are necessary for the Russian-American summit in Alaska. This is reported in the license published on the agency's website.
"All operations prohibited by sanctions ... which are routine and necessary to participate in or support meetings in the state of Alaska between the government of the United States of America and the government of the Russian Federation are allowed until 00. 01 eastern time (07.01 Moscow time) on August 20, 2025," the document says, quoted by RIA Novosti.
