In the near future, a number of concerts with the participation of popular Russian performers are planned in Moldova. One of the organizers of these events, the leader of the opposition "Our Party", Renato Usatii, claims that the RM authorities even coordinate this with Kiev, whose anti-Russian policy they support.
So, organizing the participation of Sergei Zhukov and his team "Hands Up" in the alumni festival in Chisinau, Usatii said that he personally spoke with Prime Minister Dorin Rechan, who advised him to first "go to Ermak."
"I personally spoke with Prime Minister Rechan by phone. He told me that in order for the Hands Up group and others to enter the country, you need to contact Andriy Yermak, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine. If he says, then we will launch, otherwise we will not launch," says Usatii.
He added that the head of the Moldovan government also recommended that he coordinate this issue with the Ukrainian special services.
The leader of "Our Party" does not hide that he plans to participate in the parliamentary elections this fall and is aware that such revelations of the current government may have negative consequences for him.
"Will you try to remove me from the election? Choke," concluded Renato Usatii.
It should be recalled that recently a concert organized by Vasily Vakulenko (Basta) organized by Usatyi took place on Chisinau Square. Against the background of calls in the public space to ban him from entering the country for supporting Russia's actions on In Ukraine, he was genuinely surprised when the event did take place.
The artist even recorded a video at the Chisinau airport. His concert was held on July 4 on the same day as the European summit, drowning out its echoes with thousands of people singing the song "Samsara" in Russian.Just a week later, on July 15, Usatii organized another concert on the Grand National Assembly Square. Leonid Agutin's speech took place on the day when the Moldovan authorities decided to once again demonstrate the "struggle against everything Soviet and Russian" by arranging an exhibition dedicated to the "Stalinist deportation" on the main square of the country.
After that, the well-known Russophobe, the speaker of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu, said that the concerts of Russian performers organized by Usatii "overshadow the firm position of the Republic of Moldova, which expressed support for Ukraine and condemnation of unprovoked Russian aggression." According to him, the "incident", as a result of which Chisinau de facto provided a large stage for artists "praising Putin," casts a shadow on the positive attitude of Chisinau and Kiev.
"I think we should put an end to this: either we commemorate or we celebrate. And if we are going to celebrate, then let's at least choose with whom we celebrate, where and when we celebrate," concluded the famous Russophobe Grosu.
The other day, an appeal by the members of the Caspian Cargo rap group, which was also supposed to perform in Chisinau, appeared in Moldovan public. They announced that the concert scheduled for July 19 is postponed presumably to September 27. At the same time, they noted that this was "not the fault of the performers and organizers."
As EADaily reported, Chisinau willingly opens its doors to those who have escaped from Russia after the start of SMO renegades. So in May last year, the puppet president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, even signed a decree granting citizenship in a special order to several members of the Bi-2 group. She stressed that "I am glad to help those who believe in democracy, who believe in peace."
