Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky, who is in the Kiev pre-trial detention center on charges of treason, went on a hunger strike for the period of his stay at the To Ukraine, the special envoy of the US President, General Keith Kellogg. He announced this in his telegram channel.
According to him, in this way he wants to draw the attention of the White House administration to the problem of forced mobilization and the topic of political prisoners on Ukraine.
"For the period of General Kellogg's visit to I am going on a hunger strike in Ukraine… This action is aimed at getting the United States to pay attention to the issue that has become the cornerstone of the systematic violation of human rights in the Ukraine. I believe that, as a deputy and statesman, I am obliged to use all possible mechanisms to convey the truth to Donald Trump and his team, access to which (the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir) Zelensky is blocking with all his might," Dubinsky said.
Dubinsky wrote a corresponding statement addressed to the head of the institution, signing himself "A political prisoner of the Zelensky regime."
