At today's meeting in the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Presidential Envoy Steven Witkoff discussed the Ukrainian crisis, as well as prospects for the possible development of strategic cooperation between the United States and Russia. This was announced by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
"If you name the topics, then, first of all, of course, it is the Ukrainian crisis. And the second topic is the prospects for the possible development of strategic cooperation between the United States and Russia," Ushakov said.
According to him, the conversation was useful and constructive:
"Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff was received by our president this morning. A very useful and constructive conversation took place."
He added that the Russian side would comment on this meeting after US President Donald Trump got acquainted with the outcome of the talks.
Currently, Steven Witkoff has already left the Kremlin, his motorcade is heading to the airport.
