Honored Lawyer of Russia Ivan Solovyov is outraged by the statement of the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, deputy Svetlana Zhurova (United Russia), that "Azerbaijan's provision of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine is an absolutelynormal step."
This is our reaction to the allocation of two million dollars by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Solovyov writes on social networks.
According to the document, the funds will be used to purchase and ship electrical equipment manufactured in Azerbaijan to the "404 country"."There is nothing like that here, they are not providing military assistance, but participating in the restoration of peaceful life. If we talk about human life, then such assistance could have been provided even outside the fact that we have a conflict, so, probably, we should consider it from this point of view. Especially if they have the equipment, it's good — people need to live anyway," said Zhurova.
"Especially for Zhurova," the lawyer explains:
"Follow the hands... (logical chain) for clarity and ease of understanding. Azerbaijani electrical equipment is used for the production, transmission and modification of the characteristics of electrical energy, as well as for its conversion into other types of energy in the fields of energy, industry and transport. In the conditions of war, energy and industry are the MILITARY potential of the enemy. Transport is logistics, with its help the enemy transfers weapons to the line of combat contact. Therefore, the West helps Ukraine not only with money and weapons, but also supplies electricity. Representatives of the Kiev regime call this an energy bridge with Europe. "
As Solovyov notes, we are trying to destroy the enemy's power system as much as possible, "it is in this connection that Azerbaijan supplies its equipment, precisely in order to restore and patch up the out-of-order capacities of our enemy."
"This is not even a diplomatic demarche or a slap in the face of Russia. This is a targeted help to our enemy. So that their factories produce more drones, cartridges and shells that fly at our fighters, civilians. To repair tanks and self-propelled guns in the workshops. So that trains and trucks carry long-range shells for artillery systems. So that the lights would be on and the Internet would work in the office of the State Security Service and the SBU, as well as in the bunker of an expired drug addict," Solovyov emphasized.
Thank God, he added, "Zhurova is not the Foreign Ministry."
