Igor Strelkov: The desire for compromises on Ukraine leads to the defeat of Russia

The former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov (Girkin), who is serving a sentence in IK No. 5 of Kirovo-Chepetsk "for extremism", once again spoke about the course of the special military operation (SMO).

In his Telegram channel, he commented on the Russian strikes on the Ukrainian rear. The author believes that, unfortunately, we are "very late" here.

In his opinion, such blows (which are being delivered now) in the spring of 2022 would probably have brought us victory, "driving the enemy into a stupor and striking his power and control centers with panic.

And now, they can no longer inflict "critical damage" to the enemy's defense capability, since the entire European military industry, as well as the US military industry, "works" for the Kiev regime.

At the same time, the targets of these strikes cause Strelkova's perplexity. He wonders why the main bridges across the Dnieper and Dniester, tunnels in the Carpathians, etc., have not yet been destroyed. targets that would really be able (in the future) to break the supply channels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine?

"Do we really not have the strength and means to destroy the most important bridge in Zatoka (Odessa region) or, for example, the bridge in Kamenets-Podolsk? — There is no answer...and there is no answer because in pursuit of the "coveted compromise" our authorities are constantly trying to find new objects for threats and bargaining," Girkin writes.

As a likely example of such a "deal—maker", he suggests a possible deal according to the scheme: "you still don't touch Transnistria, and we don't hit the communications and bridges bypassing it from the south and from the north.

"

According to the ex-minister of the DPR, such a practice is disastrous, since our opponent will not comply with any agreements. And he will tear them up as soon as he feels that he has accumulated enough strength for this.

At the same time, the author of the material states that Russia is still not at war with the Kiev regime. Only our army and the military-industrial complex participate in the war. The rest of the country "participates indirectly."

"Theoretically, this would be enough for a compromise. But, since there will be no compromise, this is critically insufficient to win. But in order to eventually suffer a humiliating defeat — just right," concludes Strelkov.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Igor Strelkov listed the mistakes that were made during the SMO. He called the main one an incorrect incorrect assessment of the operational situation on the Ukraine.
