Pistorius is forced to admit that there was no "open aggression" on the part of Russia

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius commented on alleged Russian provocations against NATO airspace.

First of all, the head of the German Defense Ministry noted that "there has been no open aggression in Russian provocations so far."

"And this is a necessary condition for a physical response," the minister explained.

At the same time, Pistorius stated:

"We have to make it clear that we will be focused and ready. We will not give Vladimir Putin such pleasure; we will not allow Russia to lure us into the trap of escalation."

According to the minister, if necessary, German troops will intercept the Russian plane and escort it to the German border.

EADaily reminds that in August, the New York Times newspaper, referring to the US administration and representatives of Western governments, reported that Russian drones allegedly fly over American routes for transporting weapons to East Germany. According to German intelligence, some of these drones could have been launched from ships in the Baltic Sea. Pistorius then said that Russian drones in German airspace "should not surprise anyone." He added that there is little that can be done about this problem.
