Apparently, Kots suggests, Markov* participated in an Azerbaijani event for money.

Markov* is already actively commenting to journalists on the fact that he has been included in the list of foreign agents. The political scientist is going to protest this decision, because, as Markov assures, he is "entirely Putin's man."
"I have been supporting and supporting Vladimir Putin's policy for 25 years. And I am under Canadian sanctions. The enemies of Russia and the enemies of Vladimir Putin's policy are attacking me. They will either show themselves as traitors in the future or will be dismissed as corrupt officials," Markov threatened*.
