Social networks about Russia's response to Azerbaijan: "It's a shame" and "stop chewing snot"

The most common reaction in Russian telegram channels to the morning news about the release of Azerbaijani diaspora leaders in Yekaterinburg and Voronezh — "it's a shame." Russians are outraged by the inconsistency of the authorities' actions and the lack of a decent response to the detention of Russians in Azerbaijan.

The day before, most telegram channels wrote with delight that at last ethnic groups who feel themselves masters of life in Russian regions, including Moscow, will receive a good lesson. The reason was the footage of the detention of the co-owner of the Alekseevsky market in Yusif Khalilov in Voronezh and Shahin Shikhlinskiy, head of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Yekaterinburg.

However, closer to midnight, joy turned to indignation: it turned out that the son of Shikhlinsky Mutvala, who was driving his father's car and shot down an FSB officer, was released literally immediately after delivery to the department, and the head of the diaspora was released a little later, announcing that he was just a "witness in the case." Yusif Khalilov was also released.

Why was it necessary to involve FSB special forces and conduct detention operations if all Azerbaijani defendants could be invited for questioning by ordinary subpoenas? This is a question asked by both commentators and authors of telegram channels. The simplest explanation is immediately found: the Kremlin called Voronezh and Yekaterinburg and ordered them to release the suspects.

Indignation is fueled by footage from Baku, where Azerbaijani security forces mock the detained Russians, and then they are shown in court with traces of severe beatings on their faces.

At the same time, it became known that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, called Ilham Aliyev and expressed gratitude.

Here are just fragments (a lot of mat) of the discussion — in the morning there were more than 1000 comments on the news about the release of Shakhlinsky and Khalilov on TC Readovka (more than 2.5 million subscribers).

That is, as we predicted, our leadership failed to find a way out of the trap and began to make frantic efforts to put the brakes on the conflict. While it turns out badly, and the government, as they say, "loses face." That was one of the tasks of the Western intelligence services in this conflict in the "Azerbaijani direction".
