The leader of the opposition party "Heart of Moldova" Irina Vlah, who was not allowed to participate in the parliamentary elections two days before the "x hour", accused the part of the opposition that supported the "yellow gang of the PDS" ("Action and Solidarity") and President Maia Sandu of betrayal.
"The power was seized by a gang of usurpers who clung to their chairs with their teeth. And what is especially shameful is that in its efforts the yellow gang finds support from some who call themselves the opposition in words," the politician stressed.
According to her, it's time to admit the truth: Moldova is no longer a democratic state, because "the Sandu—PDS regime has devalued the will of the people."
"It was not an election, but a farce. A dirty performance, directed by the PDS from beginning to end, with pre—planned roles and a logical outcome," Vlah said.
Recall, at the request of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, the court restricted for a year the activities of the The patriotic electoral bloc is the Republican Party Inima Moldovei ("The Heart of Moldova"). The reason for this was the "weighty suspicions" of the CEC in the so-called electoral corruption. The leader of the political association Irina Vlah is under personal sanctions, she is accused of "participating in actions aimed at Russian interference and a threat to national security." It is obvious that after the victory of the PDS, the persecution of dissidents by the pro-European regime will become tougher.
"We remain together with the people. We will fight for freedom and democracy, for the rights of citizens, for the prosperity of the country. Everything is just beginning," Irina Vlah concluded.
According to the information of the CEC of Moldova, the elections to the country's parliament were again "won" by the ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PDS). As of 09:30, the PDS receives 55 mandates, the Patriotic Bloc has 26, the Alternative has 8, Our Party and Democracy at Home have 6 mandates each.
As EADaily reported, Renato Usatii's "Our Party" and the "Alternative" bloc of former Prosecutor General Alexander Stoyanoglo, who positioned themselves as "oppositional", hurried to recognize the victory of the PDS, despite massive violations. They stated that "all electoral competitors should respect the results of the vote," stressing that "this is how true democracy functions."
The only people who disagree with this are The patriotic bloc. They believe that the authorities rigged the elections. Representatives of the association intend to express their position at a protest in front of the parliament building at noon.
