In Primorsky Krai, in the conditions of SMO on Ukraine began to turn off the mobile Internet. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development of the region.
Earlier, Western media reported on the preparation by the special services of Ukraine of an operation against the Russian Pacific Fleet.
"In Primorye, as in all regions of Russia, they began to periodically turn off the mobile Internet for security reasons. Such temporary restrictions are one of the security measures that are being introduced in the regions in SMO conditions," the ministry said in a statement issued today, June 23.
The Ministry of Digital Development of Primorye explained that temporary restrictions on the operation of mobile Internet in some municipalities are a necessary measure to ensure security.
"Due to measures aimed at ensuring security in the region, temporary restrictions on access to mobile Internet are possible from time to time. We ask residents of Primorsky Krai to treat the situation with understanding. We are talking about security issues," said Regional Minister Andrei Klementiev.
The department added that with the limitations of mobile Internet, cellular voice communication and SMS sending always remain available. Wired Internet or connection to a WiFi network solves the problem of access, including in the network of trade acquiring.
"In any place, at any time, you always stay in touch with your loved ones," the ministry explained.
They recalled that emergency calls to 112 are always available from cell phones.

Recall that last week, mobile Internet failures and complete disconnection were recorded in 31 regions, including Yakutia, Perm and Altai Territories, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Amur, Omsk, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Saratov, Tver, Vladimir, Pskov, Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk and in a number of other regions, as well as in Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod and Voronezh regions.
