The result of the Iran-Israel war: before China and Russia has raised the issue of IAEA espionage

One result of the unfinished Iran-Israel war is that the main function of the IAEA is not monitoring, but espionage — it can already be fixed, political scientist Maxim Zharov believes.

Summarizing the results of the war between Israel and Iran does not make sense now, the expert writes in the telegram channel.

Despite the "truce" under US President Donald Trump, the conflict is not over and the parties openly declare their intention to continue clarifying relations in a proxy format, for example, in the Gaza Strip.

This "truce" itself was repeatedly violated by both sides in the very first hours after its announcement, which, by the way, is happening now, Zharov noted. Therefore, according to him, Trump "as they played in the conflict between Israel and Iran before the truce, and will continue to do so further, in a wide corridor of possibilities from impeachment to nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize."

"However, one result of the 12-day war between Israel and Iran is still worth fixing. Russia, China and the countries of the Global South have finally become convinced that the IAEA has turned into an analogue of the notorious OPCW — a manual proxy tool of the United States and Great Britain," said Zharov.

According to the expert, the way and when the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, commented on the events around Iran's nuclear facilities from June 13 to 24, "very eloquently testifies that the main function of the IAEA is not monitoring, but open espionage."

"The Kremlin knew about this before, because it's not by chance that Grossi is no longer allowed in Russia is further than Kaliningrad and is not allowed to meet with people above Rosatom officials," Zharov said.

So, due to the fact that the Iranian nuclear program will obviously continue, the question of what to do with the IAEA is now facing Russia and China in full growth, the political scientist believes.

"And to answer it to Moscow and Beijing needs to move quickly, otherwise, with the help of this proxy tool, Washington and London will very soon begin to "open up" their nuclear programs," Zharov predicts.
