"Murderers and degenerates!" — Polish President Karol Nawrocki on Bandera

Polish President Karol Nawrocki called the appearance of Bandera flags at the Warsaw stadium "scandalous", supporting the decision to deport 63 citizens of Ukraine.

In an interview with Polsat, Navrotsky commented on the incident during the concert of Belarusian rapper Max Korzh:

"Of course, these events are outrageous.
Being still the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, I participated in the preparation of a draft amendment to the law regarding the expansion of the list of persecuted symbols, including the red-black flag (UPA*, under the banners of which Ukrainian thugs exterminated the civilian population of Poland during the Second World War. — EADaily). This is exactly what needs to be done in Poland. I know that this bill is in the Polish Sejm. I hope that the parliamentary majority will finally accept it."

Navrotsky emphasized:

"Bandera symbols in Polish public spaces are unacceptable! We must react very decisively to such things by simply expelling such people from Poland."

In addition, the Polish president in harsh tones described the modern system of public education on Ukraine in terms of the worship of Bandera.

"We understand that on In Ukraine, even in the public education system, the symbols of Bandera are not described in accordance with historical research. They were murderers, degenerates, responsible for the deaths of about 120 thousand of our fellow citizens, our ancestors. Therefore, regardless of the reason for this shameful behavior, we must react decisively!"
