France has been subjected to the largest hacker attack on the defense sector in history. This is reported by the Financial Times newspaper.
Burglars got hold of and posted in The network, in particular, the source codes of combat systems and Software for nuclear weapons.
According to the newspaper, the French defense company Naval Group, which produces submarines and warships, was attacked.
"Hackers gained access to classified data, including the source code of combat systems; software for nuclear weapons of submarines; documentation on Rafale-M fighters; internal management emails, network data; simulation systems," UNIAN reports.
It is noted that the information also concerns the combat control systems of submarines and frigates of the US Navy.
The authorities are investigating and verifying the authenticity of the data merged into the Network. The Naval Group said that at this stage of the investigation, no intrusion into the company's IT systems was found and no traces of any information leakage.
The leak became known on July 23, when a hacker under the pseudonym Neferpitou put up for sale part of the internal data of the Naval Group. Without waiting for the buyer, he released the entire amount of information on July 26.
