The next conflict may arise in the Black Sea region and Southeastern Kazakhstan. This opinion was expressed by political scientist and orientalist Karine Gevorgyan. In her opinion, the current situation in The Transcaucasian situation is one link in the chain of conflicts that broke out in Karabakh and Syria.
"After Karabakh — Syria, then the Black Sea," the political scientist said on Sputnik radio.
Gevorgyan believes that what is happening is "part of a chain reaction in which the Black Sea region may become the next link, and then Moldova, the ongoing Ukraine, Transcaucasia and, possibly, an explosion in Southeastern Kazakhstan."
"And so far, what is happening, so creeping or, perhaps, imperceptibly, confirms my diagnosis, although, of course, I least of all want it to come true," the expert said.
