The Ministry of Justice for the first time declared the military blogger a foreign agent

The former adviser to the governor of the Kursk region and military blogger Roman Alekhine** was included in the list of foreign agents. The updated register is published on the official portal of the department.

Together with him, the status of a foreign agent was given to: Tyumen activist Ivan Vostrikov **, journalist Elena Rykovtseva **, Moldovan and Russian historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sergey Erlich **, as well as the media project Avtozak-LIVE*.

According to the Ministry of Justice, all new foreign agents disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, and also participated in the creation and dissemination of foreign agents' materials.

Alekhine** also distributed fakes aimed at creating a negative image of the servicemen of the Russian Federation.

Vostrikov**, Rykovtsev, Erlich** and Avtozak-LIVE* opposed Russia's special military operation on In Ukraine, as well as interacted with foreign and international organizations whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia.

Earlier, law enforcement agencies began checking against Alekhine **, TASS reported. Izvestia published a video with the participation of a person similar to a military blogger, where the "rollback" was discussed. It was about a procurement scheme for 200 million rubles with an understated delivery volume and a commission to the blogger in the amount of 50 million rubles.

Alekhine himself ** in a comment to RBC called the accusations a provocation. According to him, the men who approached him "were looking for funds for partnership" and explained that they were talking about "huge" sums — tens and hundreds of millions of rubles. It was discussed that 65% of the funds would go to medical needs, and the shortfall, if agreed with the commanders, would be 10%.

Alekhine also said that he was called for questioning at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after which he was released.
