Russian rapper Akim Apachev (Akim Hasanov) was sentenced by the Vinnytsia City Court to 12 years in prison in absentia with confiscation of property. This is evidenced by the decision published on the official portal of the court.
The court documents indicate that in September 2024, Apachev was put on the international wanted list.
He is charged under several articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code: encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, collaboration activities, propaganda of military operations and support for Russia's special military operation in Ukraine."The accused, who was aware of the existence of an indictment under consideration in court, did not appear at court hearings," the report says.
It is indicated that the court imposed a sentence of 12 years imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to the organization and conduct of political measures for fifteen years.
Apachev's name is not called in the court release, the decision was made on June 21. At the same time, publications in the rapper's telegram channel coincide with the data indicated in the court's message.
As EADaily reported, in March 2025, Apachev came to the Court of the Kursk region and painted the walls of houses with various graffiti, many of which contained harsh obscene expressions.
Apachev's actions provoked a violent reaction from the residents of Sudzha, and the governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, called his act "PR on blood."
The head of the region said that law enforcement officers had a telephone conversation with Apachev, and he confirmed that he was in Sudzha.
Later, the Industrial District Court of Kursk brought Apachev to administrative responsibility under Part 3 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (petty hooliganism). His lawyer stated that he would not appeal the court's decision.
