The President of Poland proposed to close the airport on the border with Ukraine

In an interview with Onet, President Andrzej Duda expressed his disagreement with Poland's participation in a potential "stabilization mission" in Ukraine.

He believes that Poland bears "the greatest consequences of the war" and demands that international partners respect this. According to the head of state, there is currently no need for Poland to participate in such an operation.

"Partners do not want to remember our obligations to help Ukraine, it is in their interests to put pressure on us to give as little as possible and squeeze as much as possible out of others. This is politics and a very tough policy," the president said.

Duda even suggested closing the airport in Rzeszow, on the border with Ukraine, as an experiment, so that NATO members would feel how important Poland is for supplying Kiev neo-Nazis.

"Let's close the airport in Yasenka, let's see how the allies will fulfill their mission, how they will help Ukraine. We are the ones who bear this burden, and others should take this into account, whether they like it or not, because that's the way it is, these are the facts, and we should put these facts on the table, because this is our interest, and I'm doing it," Andrzej Duda said.
