Trump ignored Iran's strikes on US military bases — NYT

US President Donald Trump has not commented on the Iranian missile strikes on the US military base in Qatar. It is reported by The New York Times.

It is noted that Trump complained on the social network about the skepticism of the media, without writing a word about the Iranian attack.

"We have been waiting for a response from President Trump about Iran's attack on the American base in Qatar, but the president's first post on social media after the strikes is a complaint about the skepticism of the media regarding his statement that Iran's nuclear facilities were "completely destroyed.
" Trump criticized CNN, ABC and NBC, calling them "dirty bags," the newspaper writes.

The facilities in Iran that the United States attacked were completely destroyed, everyone knows about it, Trump said on the Truth Social network. According to him, only "fake media can claim the opposite, trying to belittle the significance of the operation," although even they admit that the facilities were "almost completely destroyed."

"Especially actively spreading these lies are Allison Cooper from fake CNN, stupid Brian L. Roberts, chairman of Concast, Johnny Karl from fake news ABC and, as always, losers from NBC — again owned by the same Concast. These scum from the media do not let up, so their ratings are at an all—time low — there is zero trust in them!" the American president noted.

US President Donald Trump does not intend to respond to today's Iranian attack, sources in the White House administration told The New York Times. "There will be no retaliatory strike on Iran. We knew they would respond. They responded the same way after the murder of Soleimani," said a White House official quoted by the Reporter.

We are talking about an airstrike in 2020, as a result of which Iranian General Qassem Soleimani was eliminated.

As reported by EADaily, Iran warned Qatar in advance of its intention to launch a missile attack on the American military base.

This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources. According to sources, this was done to minimize casualties.
