Others would have already been imprisoned: Protests in Ukraine were organized by the owners of the regime — Azarov

Protests in Ukraine after the adoption of the law on limiting the powers of anti—corruption agencies — NABU and SAP - were organized by the owners of the Kiev regime, the authorities would not tolerate any spontaneous actions on any other occasion. This was stated by former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.

"These are not spontaneous exits. The authorities agreed to them. And if someone had come out to protest spontaneously for any other reason, they would have been immediately dispersed or imprisoned," Azarov writes in his telegram channel.

He notes that after the coup in 2014, the West built on Ukraine has a system similar to the Romanian one — a parallel structure of "law enforcement agencies, justice, which does not obey the authorities" in order to have a whip to spur this very power.

"While she works in the stall, does everything she needs to, let her steal. SAP, NABU, GBR, etc. all did not bother. But all this is far from the interests of the Ukrainian people. I am not against the fight against corruption, but this is an imitation. In fact, this is a bridle that keeps anyone in control, not only from the authorities, but also from the opposition, so that they can be held accountable. Why did these bodies not involve (Petro) Poroshenko and Co. "Rotterdam+“, etc.? And now (the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir) Zelensky felt that he was being approached, he felt that he smelled fried," Azarov emphasizes.

However, in his opinion, there are no grounds for political turbulence, since the current protests will not result in anything more solid.

And Zelensky has already submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill returning the absolute independence of anti-corruption bodies.
