Alexander Suponitsky is a well—known architect, chairman of the Board of Directors of the SUART Group of Companies, member of the Union of Architects of the USSR. The company of the murdered man designed a huge number of significant objects in St. Petersburg — futuristic metro station "Gorkovskaya", car dealership Rolls-Royce, shopping malls and developed the concept of the business center "Lakhta".
According to information TK Shot, the architect's killer is his 49—year-old neighbor Konstantin Kozyrev, who lived on the floor below Suponitsky.
"Kozyrev is an ex—deputy Director for Finance of the Petrotrest investment and construction holding, until 2013 he held a position in the company Petrotrest-Monolith Company. In 2015, a criminal case was opened against Kozyrev on tax evasion on a large scale: he included deliberately false data in the company's corporate income tax returns. He had a formalized IP in the field of consulting on commercial activities. On October 12, he was supposed to be 50 years old," writes TK, specifying that Kozyrev set fire to his home after the shooting of Suponitsky.
