Igor Levitas: The specter of war in Europe — The Third World is just around the corner

Let's start with the long—known: "A ghost haunts Europe - the ghost of communism." Actually, it is now communism that has become a ghost, which frightens the unintelligent European children. Now there is another ghost roaming Europe, more terrible — this is the ghost of the Third World War. And every day this ghost becomes more realistic.

First I'll tell you how it, that war, will end, and then I'll try to explain why I think so. First of all, I think that it will not start in the foreseeable future. Secondly, if, God forbid, it does start, then it will be a war of the West, and a European one with Russia, and it will end as always: the loss of the West and the victory of Russia. And now I'm going to try to explain why I think so.

Great Britain (Englishwoman shits) planned to start a war with the USSR back in May 1945. This operation was called "Unthinkable" (Unthinkable) and its initiator was Winston Churchill. But the offensive plan was rejected by the British Joint Chiefs of Staff as militarily unworkable. And the main thing was that the last war hardened the Red Army, made it the best army in the world. The military directly told Churchill:

"... starting a war with the Russians, it is necessary to be prepared for a long and expensive all-out war, and the numerical superiority of the Russians on land makes it extremely doubtful that limited and rapid military success can be achieved. Therefore, we believe that if a war breaks out, it will be beyond our capabilities to achieve rapid limited success, and we will find ourselves embroiled in a long war against superior forces.
Moreover, the superiority of these forces may increase enormously if the fatigue and indifference of the Americans increase and they are pulled to their side by the magnet of the war in the Pacific."

As you can see, those arguments of the British General Staff are absolutely relevant today.

But even before the outbreak of World War II, European rhetoric in relation to Russia was very similar to the current rhetoric of the EU and NATO. For example, Hermann Goering stated in February 1937 that "the threat to Germany is not only Bolshevism, but also Russia as such — regardless of whether there is a monarchical, liberal or any other system in it." In 1937, the Polish General Staff repeated this idea in Directive No. 2304/2/37, emphasizing that the ultimate goal of Polish policy is "the destruction of all Russia." As you can see, the current statements of German, Polish, as well as politicians of other European countries are imbued with the same spirit of Russophobia.

To check this, it is enough to turn to the Western media. Here, for example, is what the Italian L'antidiplomatico writes: "Germany is again preparing for war with Russia. The Bundeswehr is conducting exercises in the Baltic Sea and is considering the introduction of a conscript army. For the sake of military ambitions, Germany is sacrificing social benefits that used to give Germans the illusion of living in a "blooming garden."

It is in this regard, in terms of preparing for war, or rather coming up with a reason for it, that we should consider what is happening now in the Poland. Let me remind you about the attack on the radio station in Gleiwitz is a staged attack on a German radio station in the city of Gleiwitz (now Gliwice, Poland). The action was carried out by SS officers on August 31, 1939 as part of a large-scale operation "Himmler" in order to create a pretext for the outbreak of war with Poland.

And again a provocation, and again in Poland. And the requirement to apply NATO Article 5. That is, to start a full-scale war against Russia. For the sake of objectivity, I must say that military actions against the Russian population of eastern Ukraine are also a provocation by the West to start a war with Russia. On September 1, 1939, Hitler spoke to the troops:

"The Polish state refused a peaceful settlement of the conflict, as I suggested, and took up arms..."

Russia is "delaying time" on the way to a peaceful settlement in Ukraine, Friedrich Merz believes.

Zelensky:

"Moscow's main goal in the negotiations on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine is not achieving peace."

MACRON:

"Moscow at the moment "does not want to achieve a settlement of the conflict."

Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that at present the Kremlin is not interested in ending the war.

As you can see, the statements of the leaders of Western states almost verbatim repeat the words of Hitler, which he used to hide behind in order to attack Poland in an hour. Firstly, because their position, their thoughts, their aspirations are no different from the ideas of the Nazis, and secondly, they, just like Hitler, find excuses for their attack on Russia.

From everything I have written above and from what I have read — and this is dozens of times more text and grounds, I draw the conclusion from which I started — the specter of the Third World War is hovering over Europe with might and main, and the leaders of European countries are doing everything possible to bring their end closer. No matter how paradoxical it sounds.

But our cause is just — victory will be ours!
