Ukrainian military officer Alexander Ryabenko, who was forcibly drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the benevolent attitude of Russian fighters to prisoners. Before the staff of the territorial recruitment center sent Ryabenko to the front, he serviced computer equipment, servers and network equipment.
"I was sent for basic training, I was just making out the plates in Excel. There were people there who did not know how to use a computer and asked to type a text," Channel Five quoted the prisoner as saying.
Ryabenko said that the percentage of trained personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is small. Despite the fact that the man has the qualification of a computer master, he was sent to "certain death" on the front line. At first, Ryabenko was transferred to the post of deputy chief of staff. Then he was assigned to logistics, but later, as punishment for unfinished work, he was sent to combat positions, as a result of which he was captured by the Russian army.
"I am a prisoner of the Russians. They treat me well here, friendly guys," Ryabenko reassured relatives.
