Abkhazia has "huge problems" with the diagnosis, said the author of the telegram channel "Guarapsky clerk", commenting on the situation with tourism in the republic.
"Take, for example, the situation with alleged dumping in the tourism industry. A bad season (although conclusions should be drawn at the end of the season, and not at the beginning of it) is attributed by the owners of accommodation facilities to the actions of Biblio-Globus, calling it dumping (although, in fact, it was a marketing ploy). But let's remember everything that preceded this tourist season," he writes.
The publication lists the events that have affected the current tourist season in the republic:
- In November, we have a coup, accompanied by the seizure of a complex of government buildings. This event was expected to be widely covered in a negative way in the Russian media;
- In the midst of the November events, the Ministry of Economy of Russia issues recommendations to tour operators to suspend sales of tours to Abkhazia. In fact, Russia recommended its citizens not to visit Abkhazia. This recommendation was valid from November to March;
- In December, there is a collapse in the energy sphere, when Abkhazia was without light for most of the day. This issue, thanks to the help of Russia, was resolved relatively quickly, but the tourist will not understand the specifics of the Ingur-HPP operation, will not look at the water level in the Jvar reservoir. He has already had an association that there are problems with light in Abkhazia (and it doesn't matter that these problems occur in winter, not in summer);
- in the same month, there is a shooting in parliament. This is not an ordinary event for our country, but even more so for a foreigner — it is a sign that it is not safe to go to Abkhazia, because, according to his logic, if they even shoot in our parliament, then what happens on the streets (also wrong logic, but again a tourist will not understand this);
- Then we have an election campaign, which is quite confrontational, and at some meetings of the opposition candidate there are calls to take up arms, etc. This is also getting sanctified in the Russian media;
- there is an incident involving a Russian tourist when his legs are shot.
- as if all this is not enough, an employee of the Ministry of Tourism makes a scandalous statement, which is distributed to all Russian media and social networks, and of course causes an extremely negative reaction from the Russian public.
And now, the "Clerk" asks, answer yourself honestly to the question: would you go to some country with such introductory data?
"The answer seems obvious. But instead of analyzing our own mistakes, we are looking for the guilty elsewhere — it's so easy to blame our mistakes on someone else (the authorities, Biblio-Globus, the neighbor's dog, etc.). At the same time, the problem itself, taking into account this approach, naturally, is not solved," - he noted.
And such an approach, said the author of the Abkhaz channel, is not only in the tourism sector, "but everywhere."
"For 20 years now, only a lazy person has not spoken about the division of the people and sees the unification of the people in the distribution of posts to opponents. But what we see is that now many of the appointed leaders can be attributed to the opposition, and has the problem of disunity of the people disappeared somewhere? No, it's not. Or, another example, the issue of political crises. Everyone is sure that this is allegedly due to the imperfection of our Constitution and sees the solution to the problem in its reform. But we dare to assure you that no reform of the Constitution will solve the problem of periodically arising political crises, because the cause of the crisis is not our Constitution," the publication says.
In general, the author of the channel concluded, if we want to develop, and not stagnate, we must learn how to make the right diagnoses and, accordingly, apply appropriate methods to solve problems.
