The Russian Armed Forces struck at the place of awarding the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region after hacking the unit's group chat in social networks. This was stated by TSN commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky.
Violation of security rules led to the fact that the enemy found out about the place and time of the event, he noted.
"There was a group chat on social networks again, and this is ignoring basic security standards. It was by hacking the networks that the Russians most likely found out about the meeting," said Syrsky.
He claims that three servicemen were killed in the attack.
The commander of the UAV battalion, who organized the award ceremony in an open area, was arrested by the Dnepropetrovsk court, the Strana newspaper writes.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the strike, some of the best UAV operators of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed.
