Details have emerged about the incident with the UAV over government buildings in Warsaw

The two Belarusian citizens detained in connection with the incident with the UAV over government buildings in Warsaw are about 20 years old. This is reported by the Polish edition of Onet, citing sources.

"As unofficially became known to Onet, the detainees are about 20 years old. The services reassure about the incident, also emphasize that the State Security Service acted effectively," the newspaper writes.

The press secretary of the head of the service, Colonel Bohuslav Pyurkovsky, in an interview with the newspaper, told some details of what happened. According to him, the CDF officers on duty at Belvedere Palace saw that a flying object appeared above the building, informed the management about it and "took actions that led to the detention of two citizens of Belarus."

It is noted that President Karol Navrotsky and his family have been living in Belvedere since August. Now he is not in Warsaw, he went on a visit to Germany in the evening.

On the air of TVN24, the same Pyurkovsky recalled that there is a ban on UAV flights over government buildings. He added that the service officers noticed the drone after 7 p.m., the operation was completed in a few minutes.

"In such matters, one should not make drastic, radical conclusions if one does not know what happened. It seems that it was not something (from outside) that arrived, but these citizens launched (UAVs. - EADaily) on the spot. Let's not comment until we find out," TVN24 drew a line.
