An An-24 aircraft with passengers on board disappeared from radar in the Amur region

In the Amur region, the An-24 passenger plane of Angara Airlines, with 46 people on board, does not get in touch.

An-24 of Angara Airlines operated a flight Khabarovsk-Blagoveshchensk-Tynda. Now he has disappeared from radar, presumably being a few kilometers from the last airport of the route.

"The An-24 aircraft of Angara Airlines, a few km from the airport of the city of Tynda, did not get in touch at the checkpoint," the operational services reported.

They confirmed that there are 40 passengers on board, including 2 children, and 6 crew members.

There were reports in local publications that the An-24 was preparing to land, but could not land the first time, after which it went on the second lap. After that, the connection with him disappeared.

A Mi-8 helicopter was sent to search for the aircraft, as well as ground services.
