Israel is shocked and demands an explanation from the White House about Trump's ban on hitting Lebanon

Trump shocked Netanyahu by saying that Israel is forbidden to hit Lebanon. This is reported by Axios.

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his advisers were shocked by Trump's post, which contradicted the text of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, published by the State Department on Thursday," writes journalist Barak Ravid.

According to sources, Netanyahu was personally shocked and alarmed to learn about this message. Israel has asked the White House to clarify President Donald Trump's post that Israel is "prohibited" from conducting airstrikes on Lebanon, an American source and another familiar source told Axios.

As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump said he had banned Israel from launching missile strikes on Lebanon. The American leader wrote about this on the Truth Social social network.
