The series with the Russian actor received 23 nominations for the Emmy Award

The organizers of the 77th Emmy Television Awards announced the contenders for the award in 2025, the Variety portal reports. The third season of the series "White Lotus", in which the Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov starred, was nominated for the award in 23 categories, including in the nomination "Best Drama Series".

A record number of nominations went to the series "Separation" — it claims to receive the award in 27 categories, and will compete with "White Lotus" for the award in the nomination "Best Drama Series".

Also, "Andor", "The Diplomat", "One of Us", "Paradise", "Pitt Hospital", "Slow Horses" will compete for the award in the nomination "Best Drama Series".

The films "Abbott Elementary School", "Bear", "Tricks", "Nobody Wants It", "Murders in one Building", "Therapy", "Film Studio", "What we do in the Shadows" are competing for the Emmy Award in the category "Best Comedy Series".

In the nomination "Best mini-series or anthology", the contenders were "Transitional Age", "Black Mirror", "I'm Dying how I Want sex", "Monsters: The Story of the Menendez Brothers", "Penguin".

Sterling K. Brown ("Paradise"), Gary Oldman ("Slow Horses"), Pedro Pascal ("One of Us"), Adam Scott ("Separation"), Noah Wiley ("Pitt Hospital") are nominated for the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Kathy Bates ("Matlock"), Sharon Horgan ("The Garvey Sisters Conspiracy"), Britt Lauer ("Separation"), Bella Ramsey ("One of Us"), Keri Russell ("The Diplomat") are up for the award in the Best Actress in a Drama Series category.

As reported by EADaily, it became known earlier that Kolokolnikov and another Russian actor Nikita Kukushkin* will play in the new film directed by Darren Aronofsky "Caught stealing." The premiere of the film is scheduled for August 29 this year.
