In 2015, Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with the EU made up $31.2bn or 51.4% of the country’s total trade, State Secretary of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova said during a meeting with Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan Traian Hristea on Feb 9.
According to the source, over the last decade the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the EU has grown by 13 times, while European investments in Kazakh economy have grown tenfold.
The EU accounts for over half of Kazakhstan’s foreign trade and 49% of foreign capital in Kazakh economy.In its turn, Kazakhstan is the 26th biggest trade partner of the EU.
