The outrageous Russian artist was accused of refusing to help SMO participants

The leader of the Leningrad group, Sergei Shnurov, refused to help the soldiers of the special military operation through the Fund for Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBK). This was stated in his telegram channel by the head of the organization Vitaly Borodin.

"Shnurov refused to help the front through the FBK.
The position of this comrade is quite clear: outrageous antics on stage, such as participation in naked performances, seem to him more preferable than real participation in the life of the country. His choice in favor of entertainment, rather than active support, causes natural disappointment," the report says.

Against this background, Borodin intends to prepare appeals to the Russian governors with a request to "consider canceling Shnurov's concerts in their regions for the period of SMO."

He expressed the hope that officials will make a balanced decision, which will be dictated by the interests of society and the prospect of preserving "the moral image of our country."

"It is important to remember that culture forms consciousness, and we must be attentive to what patterns we support," Borodin summed up.

As EADaily reported, earlier Borodin published a fragment of correspondence, presumably with concert director Shnurov. According to him, the concert of the Leningrad group will cost the customer 20 million rubles plus riders for 3.5 million rubles.

"It is estimated that the musician will earn about 400 million as part of the Russian tour. We intend to officially appeal to Sergey with a request for help to SMO participants.
We believe that he will be able to allocate about 50 million," Borodin noted.
