Military blogger Sergey Kolyasnikov drew attention to how representatives of Russia at the forum in Shusha showered compliments to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, who made a demarche against Russia. Kolyasnikov was outraged by the comments of political scientist Sergei Markov and journalist Mikhail Gusman.
"Our 'answer' to Azerbaijan's Russophobia. Two representatives of Russia spoke at the Aliyev forum. In video No. 1, Sergey Markov is scattered in compliments to Aliyev (he also looks with delight at how a Ukrainian journalist gives Aliyev ukronazist chevrons, and Aliyev thanks and says "continue"). The second representative of the Russian Federation at the forum, Mikhail Gusman, Deputy Director General of the TASS news agency, was even allowed to ask his question," the blogger notes.
Kolyasnikov quoted in full the question that Gusman asked Aliyev:
"My question is a little broader. Today, Azerbaijan, in my opinion, pursues a completely unique foreign policy. And I do not even know what other state can be compared with. There is some kind of phenomenon in this that not everyone in the world understands, and not everyone in the world seems to appreciate it. In this regard, I have a simple question. I understand that asking you how you do it is like asking a virtuoso violinist how he plays the violin. He will say: "I take a violin, a bow and play." But your policy is based on certain, it seems to me, very clear, very verified political principles that allow you to conduct this multi-vector policy. Could you tell me 5-7 basic political principles of President Aliyev that can lead, as it seems to me, a successful foreign policy? Thank you."
Meanwhile, Kolyasnikov emphasizes, Russian journalists "taken hostage" are sitting in Azerbaijani dungeons.
"Not to mention the unique foreign policy of Azerbaijan, filled with Russophobia since the 90s," he added.
