A cat saved the life of an Ossetian fighter on the Zaporozhye front

The "amazing story of the rescue" of the fighter was told by reserve officer Oleg Marzoev, who coordinates the collection of aid for Ossetian units in the SMO zone.

Vladimir, fighting in the ranks of the Vladikavkaz infantry under the Shcherbaks of the Zaporozhye front, saw how the enemy deliberately dropped a grenade from a quadcopter next to a cat and wounded it.

The fighter, at the risk of his life, evacuated the animal to his dugout, treated the wounds and left it.

After a short time at night, the enemy dropped napalm on Vladimir's dugout. At that time, he was sleeping soundly after duty and did not feel a mortal threat. Acrid smoke began to cover the room. He didn't wake up.

"And then the same rescued cat saved his life: she began to wake him up, beat his face with her paws, meowed, despite the fact that she had never done this before during his sleep. He woke up thanks to her, then saw the smoke and the already open fire, and at the last moment managed to escape from the dugout engulfed in flames," said Marzoev.
