"The world has realized that it is impossible to speak the language of force with Iran, that Iran and the Iranians cannot be threatened." This was announced today, June 27, at a press conference in Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani said in Yerevan, reports News.am .
"We are ready to die, but we will not tolerate those who speak to us in the language of threats and force. We have forced the aggressor to stop the attacks, and we are ready to continue dictating the will of the Iranian people," Sobhani said.
Commenting on the publications that the territory of Azerbaijan was also used during the aggression against Iran, the ambassador noted:
"We have received information that a small number of UAVs have flown into Iran from the territory of neighboring countries. For this reason, during the telephone conversation between the President of Iran and the President of Azerbaijan, our President asked Aliyev to conduct a serious investigation on this issue. We will wait for the results of this investigation," he said, adding that the relevant information was provided by Iranian intelligence.
Iran's reaction, the ambassador continued, will largely depend on the results of this investigation.
"It is possible that our enemy, the Zionist regime, took advantage of the territory of our neighboring state. Azerbaijan has assured us that it will not allow the use of its territory against Iran. However, we all know the Zionist regime very well, they do not adhere to any rules, do not comply with any laws. Therefore, there is a possibility that they managed to take advantage of the moment, nevertheless," he said.
When asked how much Iran believes in the credibility of the investigation conducted by Baku, the ambassador replied: "We must wait for the receipt of detailed information and give an assessment based on this. While there is no clear information, it would be wrong to give any estimates in advance," he said.
