The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, promised new long-range strikes on Russian infrastructure. He announced this in social networks after the Stavka meeting, where the situation in the energy sector of Ukraine was discussed.
He noted that with the approach of the Russian army, the challenges are growing.
"The closer the positions of the Russian army are, the more significant the challenges. We are preparing a full range of responses, including scaling up our long—range responses to Russian terror against Ukrainian infrastructure," Zelensky writes.
In addition, at the meeting, according to him, the issue of protecting Ukrainian energy facilities from air strikes was discussed.
"We have decided on the provision of additional helicopters and, in general, the strengthening of combat aviation. I instructed the relevant team to promptly prepare all the documents necessary for agreements with the American side on the purchase of air defense systems. Now it is important to work out on paper every aspect of potential agreements so that we can speed up negotiations," Zelensky said.
